Demolition Tips for Atlanta, GA
Where do I go to obtain a demolition permit application in Atlanta?
You can obtain a demolition permit application online and turn it in at:
Bureau of Buildings
55 Trinity Ave, Suite 3900
Atlanta, GA 30303
Phone: (404) 330-6150
Fax: (404) 658-6979
Your demolition contractor may handle the permitting process for you, but make sure you confirm this with them. This is another thing to take into consideration when looking for a contractor to hire.
How do I find the right contractor for my project?
The right contractor will be able to meet your projects’ needs. This includes:
- Your project’s timeline — The contractor should be able to start when you need them to and finish the project within your desired schedule (within reason)
- Your project’s complexity — Is your project complicated? Is it hard for equipment to reach your work site? Make sure you hire someone who can handle those demands.
- Your budget — Another major thing to consider is the cost of the project. Some contractors are more expensive than others, and while oftentimes, you get what you pay for; this isn’t always the case. Do your research and make sure you aren’t overpaying.
