I hired Design Iz Mins, owned by Mr. Sean Griffin, to demolish an old falling apart 2-car garage and remove the concrete for $2,000. The backhoe and dumpster arrived and Mr. Griffin and an employee took down the garage and a section of the concrete pad. The next day, Friday, the dumpster was removed, although the concrete was only partially removed. Mr. Griffin brought in a truck and took three loads of the remaining concrete to the dump. He told me he had another truck and equipment to do the job. I gave Mr. Griffin an additional check for $1,000; this was the remaining balance of the $2,000 for the work. I mistakenly trusted him. There followed, a repetitious series of, “I will do it next week; I have problems with equipment.” During this time, he continued work on other demolition/landscaping projects. The week after Christmas, his truck wasn t working. The week after New Years, the truck wasn t working. Second week of January, the truck wasn t working, and the replacement truck had a broken crankshaft. Last week of January arrived, but he did not. He promised to finish the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Wednesday came, and he did not arrive. Promised he would come on Thursday; Thursday he promised to come on Friday. Friday, he never showed up and never called. Last work was done on December 23, 2019, and the concrete still remains.

I contracted Design Iz Minz to demolish a barn I ve been wanting to get rid of. Their prices were great, and they were quickly able to complete the job in no time. There was still a little bit of debris left after they were done with the cleanup, but overall, they were a solid contractor to work with, and I would definitely use them again.

Sean and his assistant Marcus of Design Iz Minz did a fantastic job removing clay soil and concrete debris from my backyard, adding top soil, grading the soil, and putting down new grass seed after another contractor filed for bankruptcy and left me with a royal mess. The job was done lightning fast, as promised. Sean and Marcus answered all my questions and were very pleasant to deal with. I will definitely refer them and use them again.
