I have a rental property with a 1957 chimney that needed to be removed. It was originally for a wood-burning fireplace, which was converted to a gas about 20 years ago. I had it repaired instead of taken down. I wanted it to be safe because it’s a rental and there are children back there. I also wanted to make sure it s earthquake safe. The cracks were grout out on the inside and top part of the chimney, which contributed to the structural frailty, and it was all repaired. They had the best communication skills, and they provided me with many options. I was 2 states away, which was kind of a disadvantage, but they did everything they could to keep me posted. They answered all my questions without hesitation and I couldn t get that from anywhere else. The people living in the house said they were wonderful. They didn t disturb the people living in the house, and they had only wonderful things to say. The process was pretty invasive because they needed to come in and out and back and forth for 2.5 days. However, I didn t receive a single complaint. Every single day, I was advised what was going on. They also sent me a before and after photo.
