Fruhling, Inc.'s success story relies much on the success of the Seattle area as a whole. It began in 1954, with Ed Fruhling started his own company, Ed's Bulldozing, at the age of 19. He became known in the area for his technical expertise and was soon one of the top contractors for excavation in Seattle's growing downtown. Today, the company has grown to include a trucking service and Fruhling Sand & Topsoil, Inc.
Our recycling services put us a step ahead of the competition, with our facilities being the closest disposal site for materials to the Seattle metro area. We recycle what we can and repurpose dirt from job sites to replace the sand that we mine. When we save, you save.
